The response was so positive it caught us here at Penman by surprise. In fact, it became our best selling book in a month on the first day! That's how well received Shalu has been. Nick Sharma comments on Shalu's reception,
I am absolutely thrilled that Shalu has been liked by so many already. It is nice to see parents appreciate a book that teaches about different cultures.
Shalu, Happy Raksha Bandhan is the first book in a series of books that cover all parts of Indian traditions and cultures with added activities and lessons that parents can practice with their kids to better enhance their learning relationship with books.
